Quant Network appoints Naiad Angel as CMO
Quant Network, the industry-leading pioneer in DLT interoperability, has further strengthened its team by appointing Naiad Angel, a highly experienced digital marketing professional, as CMO to support the next phase of the company’s rapid expansion.
London, 25 February 2021. Quant Network, the world’s first provider of universal DLT interoperability, has announced the appointment of Naiad Angel as CMO with immediate effect. With over 20 years of experience in creating and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies, Naiad will play a key role in Quant’s next phase of growth.
In recent years, international recognition of the power of distributed ledger technology (DLT) applications has grown rapidly. However, one of the main obstacles to mass adoption of the technology is DLT interoperability. Quant Network delivered a major breakthrough in this field by introducing, in 2018, Overledger, the world’s first and only enterprise-grade solution that provides true universal interoperability without adding additional complexity or infrastructure. Today, with cross-industry demand for its technology increasingly high, Quant is looking to complete its transition from a tech-focused start-up to a globally commercial organisation. The appointment of Naiad Angel as CMO, which follows the recent appointment of Martin Hargreaves as CPO, is an important step in this process.
With 20+ years of industry experience, Naiad has cross-disciplinary expertise in information architecture, design and marketing strategy, and has held senior roles in leading agencies in both Sydney and London. She has delivered digital transformation initiatives and marketing projects across a broad range of industries, including automotive, retail, media, technology and not-for-profit, and many of her clients have been Fortune 500 companies.
“As a company at the cutting edge of a rapidly developing technology,” said Gilbert Verdian, CEO of Quant Network, “we need leaders who are innovative, forward thinkers with experience of developing and implementing strategies for disruptive concepts. Naiad is a perfect fit in this respect, and we’re delighted and excited to welcome her to the team.”
"I’m both delighted and honoured to become part of the Quant team,” said Naiad Angel. “We live at critical point where the Internet is going through its next phase of evolution. Businesses and society at large are demanding a far more secure distributed internet, and I’m thrilled and humbled to be part of the visionary team at Quant who are creating the digital ‘what’s next’.”
